Thomas Greeley is a Managing Director with Newmark’s Boston Capital Markets Group, specializing in the disposition of multifamily properties, development sites and hotels. Since 2018, Greeley and his team have worked with private and institutional landowners throughout Greater Boston on the disposition of development sites exceeding 10 million square feet and $2 billion in aggregate land value.
Highlights include transactions involving 380 – 420 E Street in South Boston, The Kenmore Square North Portfolio, the sale and eventual recapitalization of The Huntington Theater development site, the South Boston Gateway and Dot Block.
Greeley’s client list includes JP Morgan, Blackstone, Rockpoint, UBS, Cornerstone (now Barings), The DSF Group, Clarion, AEW, The Related Companies, Deutsche Bank/RREEF, Equity Residential, National Development, Charles River Realty Investors, Harbor Group International, Northland Investments, Samuels & Associates, Atlantic Management, Taurus Investment Holdings, CenterBridge and The Matteson Cos.
In addition to being a licensed commercial real estate broker, Greeley has completed significant coursework through the Appraisal Institute and has extensive experience and training in the Argus DCF program. He is a member of the Boston College Real Estate Council, the American Ireland Fund Young Leader’s Committee, and is a founding board member of The Corey C. Griffin Foundation.
