Francesca Stella
Hired more than 200 professionals since 2018 for RMR
Participant in the Boston Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Program
In her 10 years with The RMR Group, Francesca Stella rose from the position of Human Resources Assistant to Senior Director, Talent Management, by continuously learning and expanding her abilities to meet her team’s growing responsibilities. Through her roles of increasing influence in HR, she has been responsible for recruiting top talent to RMR, hiring more than 200 professionals since 2018, including nearly 40 in 2022 alone.
Stella’s impact extends to RMR’s 20 departments. Diane Proctor, the company’s Vice President, HR says Stella consistently anticipates employees’ needs, quickly earning the trust of business partners via a human-centered approach. At the same time, she holds herself to the highest possible standards, inspiring confidence among her collaborators.
She demonstrates that achieving long-term value in real estate is as much about people as property. When a Massachusetts-based client company of RMR acquired First Potomac Realty Trust (FPO) in 2017, she advocated that HR team to travel to Washington, D.C., area to welcome the 35 FPO employees to the RMR family. She applies the same mindset to situations in which a property sale results in employees being let go, ensuring a smooth transition via thoughtfulness and communication.
As part of the Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Program, Stella continues to hone her leadership skills.
These are just a few reasons we chose Stella as one of Boston/New England’s 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
