Megan Moloughney
Moloughney is an executive board member of the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce as well as the Sister Stella Foundation
Vision to Learn: Facilitated bringing this nonprofit to San Gabriel Valley and winning a contract with the Alhambra Unified School District to assist with giving eye exams and glasses to children (65 percent of district qualified) annually
Academy of Special Dreams: Facilitated opening of gallery space at a commercial office and retail complex to promote inclusivity of artists with disabilities
Megan Moloughney’s unique work experience in both development and property/asset management for boutique, private companies as well as larger public companies has provided her with the ability to have a broad lens and wholly look at projects. This has given her the upper hand in determining the highest achievable objectives for each building throughout the entire process of acquisition, development, leasing and disposition to maximize value.
Additionally, Moloughney’s experience has given her the opportunity to develop successful and productive working relationships across the board with people from both public and private sectors, and internal and external team members, regardless of their position.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Moloughney as one of the California 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
At Skanska USA, Moloughney capitalizes on her experiences across all product types and across a broad range of tenants to make great connections that end up increasing value. Collaboration is key, whether it is working with a nonprofit to create synergy in an art installation that becomes an amenity not only for a project but for a community or bringing a nonprofit to a building that provides a service to a community. These are a few examples of how Moloughney has been able to create opportunities for organizations and businesses, but also make an impact in communities far greater reaching than a property line.
