Doug Faron Launches Westlight With 1,432-Unit Multifamily Deal
Real estate veteran Doug Faron founded Shoreham Capital in 2023 and later launched Westlight Capital. Westlight’s inaugural transaction involved a six-property, 1,432-unit multifamily portfolio in Gainesville, FL. The acquisition was financed with $162 million in debt arranged by CBRE.
Other notable transactions include the acquisition of the 1,180-unit Mason at Van Dorn in Alexandria, VA, the 4,120-unit Siesta Lakes in Cape Coral, FL and the 227-unit Infinity Apartment Homes in Arlington, VA.
He is active in the Urban Land Institute, National Multifamily Housing Council, CREDA, ICSC and Young Presidents’ Organization. He also supports Harlem Lacrosse programs in New York and Los Angeles, and was named to GlobeSt’s CRE Fifty Under 40 List.
These are some of the reasons why Doug Faron was selected to receive ApartmentBuildings.com’s AB 100 Investor/Owner of the Year Award, which recognizes those who demonstrate creativity, skill and success in the multifamily industry.
