Moore & Van Allen (MVA) partner Christopher Thompson is a leading Commercial Real Estate team member. With nearly 15 years in real estate practice, he has extensive experience representing developers, investors, nonprofit and affordable housing organizations, and Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies in acquiring, developing, financing and leasing commercial real estate and large residential developments.

He was a lead associate on a multi-use development that included retail, office space and multifamily. Thompson also regularly works with a non-profit organization that develops affordable housing in the Charlotte region.

He serves as a co-leader of MVA’s Human Trafficking Pro Bono Project, which dedicates legal resources to support victims of this crime. In recognition of his work in this space, Thompson was awarded the Bill & Sally Van Allen Public Service Award.

Thompson earned the North Carolina Real Estate Finance ranking in the Chambers USA guide.

These are some of the reasons why Christopher Thompson received Connect CRE’s 2024 Atlanta & Southeast Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
