Designed a transaction-tracking tool in Smartsheets
In her role as Avison Young’s Operations Manager, Sheryl Waldorf is responsible for making the platform’s day-to-day operations run smoothly. She brings 25 years of transaction and operations experience to AY to implement best practices among our business partners in brokerage, HR, legal, marketing, project management and property management.
She helped establish the referral fee process between the brokerage and PjM and designed a project management tool in SmartSheets to track transactions. She also earned her NJ Salesperson License to understand better and support the brokerage business.
While at a previous position with TIAA/Nuveen, Waldorf negotiated venture agreements and ran the closing and due diligence with one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds in a $1B+ transaction. She also coordinated and managed TIAA real estate’s annual SOP review and presentation to the risk oversight committee, among other tasks. She also held positions at CBRE and PGIM.
Waldorf is a member of CREWNJ (Commercial Real Estate Women), is involved with Morris County school activities, and serves as a chair on the No Place For Hate Planning committee. She volunteers with Grow it Green and is a NASM-certified Nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer.
These are just a few reasons why Sheryl Waldorf is among the New York & Tri-State Connect CRE 2024 Women in Real Estate Award winners.
