Kathleen McSharry
Closed over $8 billiion in financing through her 20-year career
Received five REBNY Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Awards
As Avison Young’s Senior Director, Kathleen McSharry is involved in all aspects of transaction analysis, structuring, marketing, placement and closing. Over the past 20 years, McSharry closed over $8 billion in financing and has special expertise in development financing and complex deal-structuring.
Since March 2020, McSharry has been a critical part of teams that closed approximately $1.2 billion in transactions, including 5Pointz, Long Island ($350 million) and 311 W. 42nd Street ($210 million).
McSharry has been a board member and program co-chair of the Association of Real Estate Women, which subsequently merged into CREW and has advised the Board of Notre Dame School (which she attended) on real estate matters. She has won the Real Estate Board of New York’s Most Ingenious Finance Deal of the Year five times with colleagues Scott Singer and Andy Singer.
