Wilson Manages Multimarket Development and Construction Pipeline at Capital Square
Hunter Wilson is Vice President of Development and Construction at Capital Square. He oversees end-to-end project delivery across Capital Square’s growing development pipeline, including design coordination, construction management, budget oversight and cross-functional team alignment. He plays an integral role in advancing approximately $800 million in active development across 13 projects totaling more than 2,000 units in seven markets.
One notable achievement was the delivery of the 297-unit, 20-story Maeve, a luxury mixed-use development in downtown Raleigh, NC. The project supported an average of 750 jobs annually during construction and generated $108.5 million in annual economic output. Now fully operational, it is projected to support 78 permanent jobs and is projected to have contributed $23.4 million to Raleigh’s GDP in 2025.
Wilson also supports projects that total over 2,000 units and $800 million in development value across seven markets. Internally, he introduced structured coordination protocols between design and construction phases, improving visibility into project performance and accelerating decision-making.
Wilson is committed to community service. He is on the board of Nutall’s Store, an historic property in Gloucester, VA and is a member of Ducks Unlimited. This conservation organization preserves and restores wetlands and wildlife habitats. He is also a member of The Commonwealth Club, a historic social club in Richmond, VA.
These are just a few reasons we chose Hunter Wilson as one of Connect CRE’s Washington DC & Mid-Atlantic Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
