Juday Handles Portfolio Accounting and Financial Reporting at Anchor Health Properties

Company:

Anchor Health Properties

As Portfolio Controller at Anchor Health Properties, Sarah Juday oversees the reporting and accounting operations for the company’s owned and managed healthcare real estate portfolio. She ensures that the financial information is accurate, consistent, and supports decision-making across the organization.

She leads a team of 10 professionals that manages full-cycle accounting functions, including financial reporting, cash management, tenant billing, reconciliations, budgeting, tax filings and disbursements. She also oversees treasury operations across a large banking platform of approximately 240 accounts, helping ensure strong controls, risk management, and fraud prevention.

One of her most significant accomplishments was redesigning financial reporting workflows to support a diverse investor base. Juday is implementing new tools and automation initiatives, including AI-driven processes to streamline tenant receipt accounting and improve accuracy and efficiency across reporting.

Juday is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She has been a volunteer with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Juday is also an English as a Second Language tutor through Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle.

These are just a few reasons we chose Sarah Juday as one of Connect CRE’s Washington DC & Mid-Atlantic Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
