Northmarq’s Cloos Helps Guide Billions in Commercial Real Estate Financing
As Northmarq’s Commercial Insurance Risk Manager, Isaac Cloos oversees several key lender relationships, including with Guggenheim, Lincoln and Freddie Mac. He helps plan and execute strategic goals, manages a pipeline of upcoming loan closings, and ensures compliance with lender insurance requirements throughout the pre‑closing process.
Since joining the pre-closing team in April 2022, he has assisted in closing approximately 400 loans with a combined Unpaid Principal Balance (UPB) of $7.725 billion.
One notable deal involved the insurance review and onboarding for a $512-million, four‑tranche Freddie Mac credit facility secured on behalf of Price Holdings LLC, a Price Brothers affiliate. The financing refinanced and recapitalized a 13‑property multifamily portfolio spanning the Kansas City and Dallas metro areas.
Cloos works with Northmarq’s mentorship program, where he has been active in training new team members. He also participates in departmental strategic planning initiatives focused on improving efficiency and supporting future growth.
Northmarq honored Cloos with its Champion and Excellence in Servicing awards.
These are just a few reasons we chose Isaac Cloos as one of Connect CRE’s Chicago & Midwest Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
