Cushman&Wakefield’s McNamara Supports Major Industrial Expansions Throughout the Twin Cities

Company:

Cushman & Wakefield

Danny McNamara joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2017 and has since assumed the role of Managing Director with the firm’s Minnesota Industrial Team, where he specializes in tenant and landlord representation throughout the Twin Cities.

He and his team have a long-standing relationship with Forgent Power, a leading U.S. designer and manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment used in data centers, the power grid and energy-intensive industrial facilities. McNamara brokered a short-term, 15,000-square-foot lease for the company in Dayton, MN, in 2020. He eventually worked with Forgent on an 80,000-square-foot lease and the sale of a building. He also helped the company expand from 300,000 to 500,000 square feet.

McNamara also worked with Satellite Industries on the sale of its 50,000-square-foot headquarters building and on arranging a 30,000-square-foot lease of showroom space, both in Plymouth, MN.

McNamara actively mentors Cushman & Wakefield brokers. He is a member of NAIOP and the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, where he serves on the Minnesota Real Estate Education Committee and others. He has been honored with Connect CRE’s Top Broker Award and as Cushman & Wakefield’s Rising Star.

These are just a few reasons we chose Danny McNamara as one of Connect CRE’s Chicago & Midwest Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
