Newmark’s Coyne Balances Top-Producing Dealmaking With Industry Leadership
Claire Coyne is a Director in Newmark’s Cleveland office, where she leads tenant and landlord representation on Vice Chairman Terry Coyne’s team. She also works on industrial investment sales and leasing to support the broader Cleveland office. Her role includes financial services and data analytics, which provides business development expertise to the team.
Coyne completed over 32 office deals across downtown Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs in 2025, making her one of the top-grossing office brokers in Northern Ohio.
Since the beginning of the year, Coyne has finished 17 deals involving tenant and landlord representation. One closing involved a 105,000-square-foot office and industrial sale that closed within 60 days of the due diligence period. Currently, she represents Boyd Watterson’s 40,000-square-foot international headquarters expansion in downtown Cleveland.
Coyne started and served as the Chair of Newmark’s Young Women’s Network, where she mentors emerging professionals and leads the development and programming of bi-monthly meetings for women under 35. She is also the Co-Chair of the NAIOP Women’s Leadership Network.
In the community, Coyne is Co-Chair of the American Cancer Society’s Young Professional Group, which spearheads the annual Evening of Hope fundraiser.
Coyne was nominated to attend Newmark’s 2024, 2025 and 2026 Rising Stars annual conference. She has also been honored by Crain’s Cleveland Business (“20s in their 20s”) and NAIOP (“Rising Star”)
These are just a few reasons we chose Claire Coyne as one of Connect CRE’s Chicago & Midwest Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
