Josh Rubens
Secured a $47.4-million foreclosure judgment on a mixed-use project
Represented lenders in five commercial foreclosure actions
A shareholder with Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, Josh Rubens focuses his practice on commercial real estate and trust and estate matters. He represents clients in breach of contract, partnership/LLC/corporate, tort, and related matters, working with real estate developers, investors, borrowers/lenders, and commercial tenants and landlords.
Within the past year, Rubens represented the lender in the foreclosure of the historic Park Central Hotel on South Beach in Miami. He also secured a $47.4-million foreclosure judgment involving Mainstreet at Tuttle Royale, a mixed-use project in Royal Palm Beach. Additionally, Rubens represented lenders in five commercial foreclosure actions, overseeing final judgments and foreclosure sales for a range of asset types across the state.
Beyond his legal practice, Rubens demonstrates a deep commitment to his community, serving on the National Leadership Council for Israel Bonds and the Senior Board of the National Campaign Advisory Council, where he is among the youngest members nationally.
These are some of the reasons why Josh Rubens received Connect CRE’s 2025 Florida & Gulf Coast Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
