Eric Singer
Represented a client in a $900-million mixed-use development
Advising and negotiating on behalf of a joint venture for a downtown project
Eric Singer is a Partner with Bilzin Sumberg. He leads the firm’s public-private partnership (P3) and Government Contracting team, representing clients in government contracting and complex government transactions. He has negotiated development agreements for transportation infrastructure, transit-oriented development, public buildings and public utilities. He handles public contracting issues, from proposal preparation through administrative bid protests and appeals.
A former high school government teacher, Singer built a niche practice advising on P3s and the redevelopment of underutilized government-owned land. He also spent two years as a visiting faculty member at New York University’s law school, where he researched and wrote about P3 models worldwide.
Notable matters include representing Terra in its Dolphin Station Transit-Oriented Development, a $900-million, 44-acre mixed-use project on Miami-Dade County land. Singer is also representing a joint venture between Related Group, 13th Floor, and Merrimac in the RFP process and ground lease and development agreement negotiations for the Metrocenter development in downtown Miami.
Singer gives back to the community through his involvement with the Greater Miami and Keys chapter of The American Red Cross, where he serves on the Board of Directors. He has also served on the Transportation Committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Bar’s Governmental and Public Policy Advocacy Committee.
These are some of the reasons why Eric Singer received Connect CRE’s 2025 Florida & Gulf Coast Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
