As co-chair of the firm’s affordable housing practice, Nelson Mullins’ Hollie Croft represents for-profit and nonprofit developers in the development, acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, operation, and sale of affordable multifamily housing for families and seniors throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
Notable matters include representing a nonprofit organization in obtaining tax credits, tax credit equity and conventional construction loans. She also represented a real estate and management company in securing $315 million of HUD financing for its apartment portfolio.
Croft is actively engaged with the American Bar Association, where she serves as a member of the HUD Programs & Tax Credits and Equity Financing committee. She is also a member of the ABA’s Affordable Housing and Community Development Law Committee. Additionally, Croft has served as Secretary, Director, and Executive Committee Member of the Coalition of Affordable Housing Providers, Inc.
Croft is a member of the United Poverty Against Orlando board and an active member of CREW Orlando.
Ranked in Martindale-Hubbell’s AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review, Croft has also earned the honors of 40 Under 40 (Orlando Business Journal), Woman of Influence (GlobeSt/Real Estate Forum) and Notable Woman Leader in Law. She is also the recipient of a previous Connect CRE Lawyers in Real Estate Award.
