Jennifer O’Connor’s work encompasses the full spectrum of servicing performing and nonperforming loans, with specialized experience in CMBS, CLO, SFR, Freddie Mac (CME) and life insurance company financings. A shareholder in Polsinelli’s nationally recognized Real Estate Finance Practice, she advises clients on matters involving REMICs, pooling and servicing agreements, intercreditor and co-lender agreements, participation and indenture agreements, as well as the full range of post-securitization and post-origination modifications.
Within the past year, O’Connor led several high-profile, high-value transactions totaling over $1.5 billion. She represented a CMBS loan servicer in a series of partial-release transactions tied to a single-asset, single-borrower loan exceeding $1 billion. O’Connor also handled a $210-million assumption involving several CMBS loans held across six REMIC trusts and secured by 12 retail shopping centers nationwide. The transaction formed part of a larger $1.78-billion portfolio sale,
O’Connor contributes expertise through active participation in the Real Estate, Probate, and Real Property Law Sections of the Florida and Georgia Bar Associations, the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council’s Performing Loan Borrower Consents Standardization group, and as a dedicated member of CREW Charlotte.
