In her role as Managing Director—Investment Sales, Hotels & Hospitality, Natalie Castillo handles Berkadia’s investment sales of select service, limited service, and extended stay hotels for Berkadia’s Hotels & Hospitality platform throughout the Southeastern U.S. She works with private and institutional hotel investors to sell their properties via strategic and focused marketing processes. Her lodging center expertise includes in-depth financial underwriting of hotels, financing and brand selection.

In 2023, Castillo was directly involved in hotel sales totaling over $3 million, including selling 15 Wyndham La Quintas for Highgate. She also sold boutique hotels in Miami, including the Clifton, Greenview, Eva and Alden Hotels. During her 16-year career in hospitality real estate, she has handled sales totaling over $2.5 billion.

A first-generation college graduate and daughter of immigrants, Castillo serves as a board member for the Hospitality Real Estate Executive Advisory Board (HREAB) at Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, her alma mater and is an active member of the CREW Network. Castillo is committed to promoting more women to the lodging hotel industry in institutional and ownership roles with her involvement in the AHLA’s Castell AHLA. She is also an active volunteer for Feeding South Florida.

Castillo was honored with NAIOP’s Hotel Sale of the Year and was part of the team that was a finalist for Broker Team of the Year.
