Leased over 80 million square feet of office space in her career

Donna Abood joined Savills in 2024 and is Vice Chairman and Co-Head of the Florida Region. She handles the firm’s growth strategy in Florida, focusing on recruitment, revenue production and increasing the brand’s visibility nationwide. She oversees operations from South Florida to Tampa Bay, working closely with the regional leadership teams. Before joining Savills, she was Principal and Co-Managing Director of Avison Young in Miami, becoming Avison Young’s first female Managing Director.

Abood has leased over 80 million square feet of office space throughout her career, representing a notable roster of clients, including CI Financial, Vitas Healthcare Corp., Evolution Research Group, Hospitality Purveyors and Unique Vacations/Sandals Resorts.    

Abood has served on several boards, including the Miami Dade Beacon Council, the Board of Governors of the College of Business at Florida State University, as well as board memberships with the Actors Playhouse of Miracle Mile, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Florida State University’s Foundation Board. 

She has been inducted into Florida State University’s College of Business Hall of Fame and has been named one of the South Florida Business Journal’s 250 Power Leaders every year since 2019. The South Florida Business Journal also recognized her as the Ultimate CEO and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce named her Business Leader of the Year.
