CBRE’s Boston Multifamily team is led by Simon Butler (Vice Chairman/Managing Director) and Biria St. John (Vice Chairman). Since its formation in early 2004, the team has sold over 122,945 units with an aggregate consideration of more than $24.4 billion.
In 2023, the team handled 17 transactions totaling 3,967 units at a sales volume of $1.62 billion, generating a 54% market share, according to Real Capital Analytics.
Notable deals included the sale of the 508-unit Church Park Apartments at the nexus of Boston’s Back Bay, South End and Fenway. The property includes 72,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, anchored by Whole Foods.
Other stand-out transactions include the sale of the 294-unit Hanover North Cambridge in West Cambridge, the 329-unit Alta Revolution in Somerville, the 211-unit Val in Billerica, and the 225-unit Talia in Marlborough.
