Robert Levine
Structures construction transactions and apartment lease-ups
Sits on City Harvest’s junior board
Robert Levine has always been a champion of the local New York City community. He takes pride in his work in facilitating the creation of housing for all New Yorkers. Since the inception of Urban Standard Capital in 2016, the real estate development and investment company has completed over $1 billion of equity and debt deals.
Described as dynamic, thoughtful and driven, Levine has been a driving force at USC since he joined the company in 2020. He has been a key part of all three verticals of the firm: multifamily acquisitions, ground-up construction and construction/bridge financing, which all contribute to increasing and enhancing the housing stock in NYC.
On the acquisitions and construction side of the business, Levine works with architects, designers, general contractors, consultants, city agencies and local stakeholders to turn ideas and blueprints into homes. On the lending side of the business, Levine takes a similar approach. He looks to partner with top developers who are working hard to enhance both the quality and quantity of housing in NYC.
Prior to working for USC, Levine worked for Camber Property Group, an affordable, NYC-focused multifamily real estate developer. At Camber, he underwrote and conducted due diligence new deals, worked on RAD conversions of 2,000+NYCHA units and oversaw capital improvements through Camber’s existing portfolio.
These are just a few reasons we selected Robert Levine as one of Connect CRE’s New York & Tri-State 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
