Involved with the disposition of over 5.1 million square feet

Assisted with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s 180,000-square-foot relocation

Since joining CBRE’s Agency Group 10 years ago, Caroline Merck has been actively involved in all aspects of landlord representation for institutional and entrepreneurial owners and sublandlords. She is responsible for the transaction process, from pitching to preparing detailed proposals, lease negotiations, financial model reviews, pricing development, and market information interpretation. She has been involved in the disposition of over 5.1 million square feet of office space.

Notable transactions include handling 390,000 square feet over multiple transactions since 2021 at the General Motors Building at 767 Fifth Ave. She was also involved with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s 180,000-square-foot relocation from Midtown to 3 World Trade Center.

At CBRE, Merck serves as vice chair of the CBRE Women’s Network Tri-State Chapter. CBRE named her its Manhattan Agency Group Professional of the Year. She is active with the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of New York, holding the positions of membership chair and vice chair. Merck is also active on the organization’s membership committee.

These are just a few reasons we selected Caroline Merck as one of Connect CRE’s New York & Tri-State 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
