Larson Baldwin
Leads construction of the $60-million, 345-unit Cottage Apartment Homes
Promoted from assistant project manager to current role in a little over one year
Project Manager Larson Baldwin leads a significant Sands Companies project: Constructing the $60-million, 354-unit Cottage Apartment Homes in Hardeeville, SC. After just over one year of joining the company (after graduating from Clemson University), Baldwin was promoted from assistant project manager to his current role.
Other accomplishments include establishing best practices for field teams and vendors and involvement with Sands’ human resources department to recruit interns for the 2023 program. Baldwin has taught a construction science management class at Clemson (his alma mater) with Sands co-founder Joe Morrison.
Within the industry, Baldwin is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders and plans to pursue opportunities to leverage the organization’s educational programming to continue growing – and eventually teach classes to others. He plans to take on leadership, training and mentoring roles with NAHB and other multifamily industry organizations.
These are just a few reasons we chose Larson Baldwin as one of Connect CRE’s Atlanta & Southeast 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
