Nancy Bainbridge Rogers

Nancy Bainbridge Rogers is an attorney with Cairncross & Hempelmann. She works with real estate developers and land owners to get projects permitted and built. She assists on the front end with due diligence and feasibility and helps clients navigate the permitting process.

She has significant experience applying local codes throughout Washington, including all of the important State statutes affecting land use, including the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), the Growth Management Act (GMA) and the Shoreline Management Act (SMA).

Activities included obtaining approval for low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise developments, including high-end hotels and assisted living facilities. She also obtained approvals for Black Diamond Master-Planned Developments, including 6,000 new homes and 1 million square feet of commercial space.

Rogers is a board member and past president of NAIOP Washington State Chapter. She is also a member of the Pacific Real Estate Institute, the Washington Business Properties Association (where she is a board member, the Master Builders Association, ULI, Association of Washington Business, Legal Affairs Council. Washington Aggregates and Concrete Association, Downtown Seattle Association, Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Greater Redmond Chamber of Commerce.

She received Martindale-Hubbell’s “High Ethical Standard Rating” and has been ranked in Washington State by Chambers USA in Real Estate: Zoning Land Use. The Best Lawyers in America has named her Lawyer of the Year: Land Use and Zoning in Seattle. The best lawyers in America have also listed her in Land Use & Zoning Law. In addition, she’s been named on the Washington Super Lawyers List by Super Lawyers Magazine.
