Represents childcare-focused 814 CRE

As Clark Hill’s Co-Chair, Commercial Real Estate Industry Group, Chad Poznansky maintains a robust national commercial real estate practice comprised of unique and challenging commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing for creative, entrepreneurial, and loyal clients. His deals range from raw land, ground-up developments, and historic acquisitions and rehabilitations to deconversions of condominium properties, distressed property acquisitions, low-income housing portfolios, and complex real estate bankruptcies.

In 2024, Poznansky handled deals ranging from $6 million to $62 million for many nationwide clients.

Notable past activities include counseling Clear Investment Group in raising $100 million for its first capital fund. He also represents 814 CRE, which is focused on the childcare sector. Poznansky handles deals involving land acquisitions, development agreements, leases, and business terms negotiations with national childcare providers in this role.

Poznansky is a member of the Chicago Real Estate Council (and a former member of the organization’s board of directors). He is also a member of the ICSC, Real Estate Investment Association, Chicago Mortgage Attorneys Association and the Chicago Bar Association.

He regularly provides pro bono legal services to low-income Chicagoans and was an associate board member with the Christopher House.

This is why Chad Poznansky received Connect CRE’s 2024 National Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
