As McCarter & English’s Real Estate Practice Co-Chair, Cynthia B. Keliher’s practice involves leasing. She represents landlords and tenants in complex ground, retail, office, headquarters, and data center leases. Her work also includes advising corporations on their global leasing portfolios. She sits on the firm’s Executive and Compensation Committees.

Representative matters include working with a multinational company to lease 150,000 square feet of office space in Lowell, MA and negotiating on behalf of a technology company’s 600,000-square-foot building headquarters lease in Cambridge, MA.

Keliher is the former president and current board member of CoreNet Global’s New England Chapter, the past president of New England Women in Real Estate, and a former board member of the Boston Industrial Development Finance Agency. She is also co-chair of the McCarter & English Women’s Initiative Steering Committee.

Her community endeavors include participating on the Bunker Hill Community College board of trustees and a former board member with Sophia Snow House and the Boston Young Women’s Christian Association.

Keliher has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law in Massachusetts, Chambers USA (Band 1) for Real Estate in Massachusetts, and Lawyers Weekly as one of the Top Women of Law in Massachusetts. She has also been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer.
