Taucha Hogue is a senior managing director in Newmark’s Houston office, where she specializes in representing self-storage clients with their strategic planning and property optimization. She accomplishes this through dispositions, acquisitions, refinancing and debt/equity placement.
Throughout her career, Hogue has been directly involved in transactions and advisory assignments totaling more than $9.1 billion, including the pending $2.2-billion Simply Self Storage sale announced in 2023 and the previous $1.225-billion sale in 2020.
Hogue brings extensive corporate real estate knowledge to the commercial real estate industry, which enables her to know what her clients need and want and enhances her ability to add value to transactions.
An active industry and community leader, Hogue is responsible for helping to host Newmark’s annual Self Storage Symposium, which draws top industry professionals from around the country. Hogue also sits as the current chair of the Young Leaders Group for the Self Storage Association, is part of the 40 Under 40 Advisory Board for Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and is actively involved with the University of Houston Stanford Alexander Center for Real Estate Program and regularly speaks at student events and panel discussions.
Bringing immeasurable value to Newmark’s Self Storage Capital Markets group, Hogue has received three promotions at Newmark in the past five years. In 2019, Hogue was honored by Connect Media as a Next Generation Winner for Texas, highlighting her reputation as an influential young leader within the industry.
