Kameshia Freeman
Leads JLL's Federal Government sales team
Co-founded African American Real Estate Professionals' Dallas Chapter
Kameshia Freeman is a senior vice president of JLL’s Government and Education division, leading the company’s Federal Government sales team. In this role, she provides client solutions in the development, portfolio strategy, sustainability, facilities management, transactional and technology arena, focusing on driving efficiency into the government’s use of real estate and facilities.
In addition to developing the practice, she expanded her role beyond the federal government to engage clients within K-12 education, higher education and infrastructure.
Freeman had a 20-year background in the General Services Administration, eventually holding the job of Director for the Center for Broker Services in the Office of Leasing. In this role, she oversaw the GSA’s national brokerage program and was responsible for approximately 52 million square feet of leasing assignments.
Freeman co-founded the Dallas chapter of the African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP) organization, which has grown to nearly 60 members since its early 2023 launch. She is active in Dallas CREW, chairing its membership committee, is co-chair of ULI Dallas’ Champions of Change, and is a Texas Real Estate Council member.
She is also an executive board member for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s Dallas alumni chapter. She has been a UAPB Youth Motivational Task Force consultant for nearly 10 years. She was recently inducted into UAPB’s Alumni Hall of Fame.
These are a few reasons we chose Kameshia Freeman as one of the Texas Connect CRE’s 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
