Cathy Thuringer

Cathy Thuringer serves as senior managing director and market leader for Trammell Crow Company’s (TCC) Phoenix office. In this capacity, she is responsible for development and acquisition projects throughout Arizona, overseeing new pursuits, finance, and the day-to-day operations of TCC Phoenix. Celebrating 35 years with the business this year, Thuringer helped deliver more than 10 million square feet of office, industrial, multifamily and mixed-use products to the Phoenix area with a market value of over $2 billion.

Since being promoted to head up the Phoenix office in 2019, Thuringer has led her team to its best-performing years in the company’s history. From 2020 through year-end 2022, the Phoenix office delivered 2.7 million square feet of commercial development under Thuringer’s leadership, valued at more than $330 million. The team currently has 3.3 million square feet of in-process and pipeline development, valued at over $600 million, including industrial, multifamily and office assets.

Thuringer also sits on TCC’s Executive Committee and, recently, the firm’s U.S. Investment Committee. She oversees TCC’s DEI initiatives, including the company’s DEI Steering Committee. Thuringer is chair of TCC’s Leadership Council as well.

Outside of TCC, Thuringer serves on the NAIOP’s Board of Directors/Executive Committee and as a member of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, ULI, Real Estate Investment Advisory Council Southwest, Valley Partnership and Arizona CREW.
