Represented owners and developers of all real estate asset types, financial institutions and more
Spearheaded financing, affordable housing, community development and tax-oriented deals
Kenneth Lore is a partner with Muchin Rosenman. His transactions involve multifamily rental properties, mixed-use development, affordable housing, public-private partnerships, office buildings and other commercial projects. Owners, developers, equity investors, lenders and other deal participants seek him out when they have stubborn problems others can’t solve. He has frequently created new financing structures that paved the way for third-party investors and governmental entities to provide critical and necessary funding.
He’s represented owners and developers of all real estate asset types, financial institutions, state and local housing finance agencies, pension funds, REITs and syndication companies. Lore also spearheaded sophisticated financing, affordable housing, community development, and tax-oriented deals.
Lore is advisory board chair with the Smithsonian National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, outside general counsel with the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association and serves on the American University Washington College of Law Dean’s Advisory Committee. He is the former chair, president and board member of the National Archives Foundation and the former chair of the Johns Hopkins Institute for Policy Studies.
Lore has been recognized by the Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, Chambers U.S.A. and the Legal 500 U.S. The New York Law Journal recognized him as a Distinguished Leader, and he’s been part of the International Who’s Who of Real Estate Lawyers. The Washington Post and Washingtonian have honored him as well.
Lore earned his law degree from the American University Washington College of Law.
These are some of the reasons why we are honoring Kenneth Lore with Connect CRE’s 2023 Washington DC Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
