Christopher L. Camarra is a real estate attorney in the Washington, DC office of Holland & Knight and the firm’s Real Estate & Hospitality Industry Sector Group chairman. He also serves as the DC office’s Public and Charitable Services Partner.
Camarra’s practice is in commercial real estate law, including real estate acquisition and disposition, development, leasing, management and financing. He represents life insurance companies, pension funds, real estate advisory groups, real estate investment trusts, and commercial and residential developers in their local and national real estate investments. This includes acquiring and financing office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, and other investment-grade properties in single-asset, multi-state, and multi-property portfolio transactions.
Camarra is a lecturer at the University of Maryland’s Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development. He established and annually teaches a semester course on commercial leasing practice for graduate students. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
He’s been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and the Legal 500 U.S.A. Holland & Knight honored him as a “Pro Bono All Star.”
Camarra obtained his JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
