A partner in DLA Piper’s Washington, DC Real Estate practice, Keith Greenberg represents local, national and offshore real estate investors and developers on complex commercial real estate transactions throughout the Washington, DC region and the United States. He advises clients on acquisitions, sales, financing and development transactions in all major asset classes, including office, multifamily, hotel, student housing, and retail projects.

Notable highlights include representing Union Investment Real Estate GmbH with acquiring the Catalyst office building in Sunnyvale, CA for $225 million. The property is 100% leased to LinkedIn. Greenberg also represented AXA Real Estate and its joint venture partner in the $62-million sale of its Pooler, GA I-95 Logistics facility to PCCP LLC.

Greenberg is a mentor for the firm’s young lawyers and is the Washington, DC office’s Pro Bono Coordinator Partner for the Washington, DC office. He is also a member of the firmwide North American Pro Bono Committee. Greenburg has done many pro bono engagements, ranging from assisting local non-profits in selling and leasing their excess real estate to representing undocumented individuals in pursuit of legal immigration status.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate. Greenberg has been recognized by Chambers U.S.A. and Best Lawyers of America. He received his J.D. from Columbia University.
