As Gray Reed & McGraw’s Real Estate Practice Group Leader, Michael Gillman represents developers and lenders in the purchase, sale, construction, development and financing of commercial and industrial properties, including multifamily housing and single-family subdivisions. Gillman also has experience handling ownership structuring and project finance matters and resolving CMBS and defeasance issues in multi-family developments. He provides ongoing representation to local and national clients. He advises financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity groups, energy funds and mortgage lenders on lending and finance matters.

Notable highlights include representing a Houston real estate investment company in the $110 sale of two multifamily properties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Gillman also represented Stonebridge Global Partners of California in acquiring nine affordable Midwest and East Coast housing properties totaling $100 million.

He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and its Real Estate Discussion Group. He’s been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America.

Gillman received his J.D. from the Suffolk University Law School.
