Amy Simpson is a partner with Seyfarth Shaw LP and is the managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office. She has extensive real estate finance experience that includes all aspects of commercial real estate lending, with an emphasis on loan origination and servicing matters. Her practice focuses on CMBS and Freddie Mac securitizations, regulatory issues impacting securitization, other portfolio and warehouse servicing agreements, B-Piece investor purchase of securities, and the sale of servicing rights.

Notable highlights include representing a life company lender in closing a nine-property portfolio loan with assets in multiple states and representing an SEC-appointed receiver in connection with managing 87 properties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Simpson is a Dallas Bar Association, Mortgage Bankers Association and Commercial Real Estate Finance Council member. She obtained her J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.
