David Rosenberg is a partner in the Real Estate Group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He has extensive experience advising clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, preferred equity and all types of real estate-based debt financings. He counsels private equity firms, public companies, public and private REITs, sponsors and operators.
Notable transactions include representing Blue Owl in a $192-million sale-leaseback with Western Digital and financing its semiconductor manufacturing facility near San Jose, CA. He also represented KKR and Consortium in its $15-billion CyrusOne Inc. acquisition, which included two committed, secured real estate financings totaling $9 billion.
Rosenberg has been recognized by Chambers U.S.A. He’s been selected by Law360 as a “Rising Star” on its list of top attorneys under 40 and a real estate “MVP” on its list of “MVPs of the Year.”
He received his J.D. from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law.
