Currently working on a $40-million complex hotel construction loan

Tyler Waller joined Marcus Millichap Capital Corporation in 2018. During 2022, Waller spearheaded more than $100 million in loan transactions, earning MMCC’s Sales Recognition award. Other accolades include MMCC’s Pace Setter award in 2019 and the Chase Small Business Development and Consulting award. Between 2021 and 2022, Waller’s performance increased by 120% despite challenging market conditions.

As Senior Director, Capital Markets, Waller uses the MMCC platform to collaborate with other brokers and to ensure clients obtain the most competitive terms while increasing the certainty of execution. He has also been successful in working with Mission Capital, MMCC’s loan sales platform.

In addition, Waller has become very active in the hospitality sector. He is currently bringing a complex $40-million hotel construction loan with multiple capital sources over the finish line with outstanding deal terms for an important client.

In addition to mentoring MMCC employees, Waller’s community service activities have included serving as an officer for Teach for America and taking part as a board member of Best Buddies, Scottsdale, AZ.

These are just a few reasons we chose Tyler Waller as one of Connect CRE Phoenix & Southwest’s 2023 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
