As Unispace Director of Strategic Projects, Katayon “Kat” Ghassemi boasts a deep understanding of the organization and the wider commercial real estate market.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, Ghassemi is responsible for crafting and disseminating the overarching corporate strategy across the company. She identifies and executes projects that drive the company’s strategy, partnering with functional stakeholders to lead and influence new business initiatives.

She leads Unispace’s M&A efforts, ensuring that potential targets align with the company’s overarching strategy. She is also spearheading the company’s geographic growth, developing a partnership framework to sign up strategic partners in target geographies and keep opportunities within the Unispace ecosystem.

Ghassemi is also responsible for drafting internal and external global CEO communications related to company strategy and positioning. She prepares quarterly board meeting papers for the private equity firm ownership and arranges quarterly executive offsite programming to drive Unispace’s business strategy. In addition, Ghassemi is working with Unispace leaders and consultants to develop an internal consulting function that provides comprehensive reviews and analyses to improve the business and drive Unispace strategy.
