Physicians Realty Trust

Spearheaded creation of training manual to spearhead transition to new software

Serves on DOC's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council

As Physicians Realty Trust’s (DOC) Asset Management Associate, Obumneke Eto is responsible for performing portfolio budget projections, reviewing lease documents for accuracy, executing ad hoc analyses and providing input into client-facing yearly stewardship reporting. She is also an important part of the due diligence process to help better understand benefits and ramifications of acquisitions in the Southeast region.

Eto’s data-driven approach is proving important to helping DOC better use data to improve real estate decision-making. During the past year, she spearheaded the creation of a new training manual during the company’s transition to new budgeting software; she also led training on the software.

A strong advocate for DEI in CRE, Eto serves as a key member at DOC’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. In this role, she is the lead facilitator of quarterly all-team educational sessions on topics including generational diversity, work/life balance, mental health, intersectionality and unconscious biases.

Thanks to Eto’s thoughtful and intentional efforts in the DEI space, DOC continues to make tremendous progress in becoming a more diverse, equitable  and inclusive team to better serve employees, healthcare partners and communities in which it operates.

These are just a few reasons we chose Obumneke Eto as one of Connect CRE’s Atlanta & Southeast 2023 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
