Greg Glaser
Facilitated opening of 133 Dollar General stores, totaling 1.3 million square feet
Kept Dollar General team focused during a period of intense change
Since joining GBT Realty in 2015, Greg Glaser has grown from a young engineer to a development professional who understands all aspects of single-tenant development. His constant pursuit of knowledge and his inquisitive nature have made him a rising star at GBT.
Glaser regularly relies on a large amount of science and research when it comes to decision-making. His engineering background gives him a solid foundation in problem solving, and he regularly offers unique solutions to challenging situations. He always finds a balance between collecting sufficient data with expedient decision-making to keep projects on track. An absolute wizard with numbers, he is constantly creating spreadsheets and models to help us evaluate individual deals as well as expansive portfolios.
Glaser earned his professional engineer’s license two years ago, and last year he was promoted from a development manager to the lead of GBT’s Dollar General development program. Since then, his leadership has been tested through some of the most volatile times in the past 30 years. During this period, he kept the Dollar General development team completely focused and ready to adjust to an environment of constant change.
As project manager, Glaser facilitated the opening of 133 Dollar General stores totaling 1.3 million square feet and valued at approximately $200 million.
These are just a few reasons we chose Greg Glaser as one of Connect CRE’s Atlanta & Southeast 2023 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
