After switching from underwriting, generated more than $100 million in loans in nine months
Kelley Klobetanz became one of the youngest women to rise to the top of the CRE credit world as a Chief Underwriter. Today, she is a Managing Director responsible for structuring debt and equity transactions for commercial real estate throughout the United States. Transactions include new construction, substantial rehabilitation, refinance or acquisition of multifamily apartments and age-restricted housing, as well as healthcare facilities.
During the past three years, Klobetanz has reviewed and underwritten over $4 billion in construction and affordable loans as a Chief Underwriter for Greystone. When she switched to origination, she generated more than $100 million in loans in just nine months.
She is on the board for the Western Mortgagee Advisory Council and has spoken at several Mortgage Bankers’ Association conferences, including MBA CREF. She also completed the MBA’s Future Leaders Program, the Leadership Training from Women’s Unlimited and she is a member of the ULI.
