Trez Capital focuses on emerging neighborhoods and tertiary markets across the U.S. Brett Forman, Executive Managing Director, Eastern U.S., oversees seven originators in Palm Beach, FL and Atlanta, GA. Both offices closed $633 million in debt across 22 deals throughout the U.S., with a concentration in the Southeast. Financing focused on acquisition and construction loans involving apartment and condominium projects, build-to-rent townhomes, lot development and office re-development/renovation projects.
Notable 2021 deals generated by Forman’s team included $78.2 million to support construction on a 323-unit apartment building in Miami’s Allapattah emerging neighborhood; $70 million in construction financing for the 19-story, 273-unit, mixed-use Block 40 in Hollywood, FL; and a $75.2 million construction loan for the SOTA 75, a 354-unit luxury apartment in Sarasota, FL.
