More than a decade experience in research across property types
Film instructor and discussion moderator, Bryn Mawr Film Institute
Lisa DeNight serves as national industrial research director at Newmark, where she researches and analyzes national industrial trends and commercial market implications, focusing on timely thought leadership and elevating data integrity. It’s a recent promotion for DeNight, who rejoined the firm in 2019 and is described by a colleague as “a true expert in her field – a creative researcher with years of experience and insights.”
Although she currently focuses on the industrial sector, DeNight’s research experience spans more than a decade and encompasses all property types. Her expertise is in statistical data collection and analysis, interpretation and advisement on economic and real estate trends, driving thought leadership initiatives and generating market insights.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose DeNight as one of the National 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
While DeNight is a thought leader in the commercial real estate industry, she also provides invaluable thought leadership within the Newmark network, her colleague says. In her new role, DeNight’s colleague adds, “she has pushed our thinking forward and helped create several innovative analytics-based reports and dashboards for Newmark’s industrial service line to utilize in pitches, client meetings, etc. Lisa is an invaluable asset to the Newmark research team as she continues to drive influence with the CRE industry.”
