Barbara Perrier has been with CBRE for 32 years and is a leading investment broker specializing in industrial and land sales. Barbara is among the firm’s Colbert Coldwell Circle, an elite group that is comprised of the top 1% of producers in the entire company in 2020. She was appointed the elite title of vice chairman, the highest title a producer can achieve within CBRE and a title shared by few professionals nationally. She received the William H. McCarthy Award, CBRE’s highest recognizing one high-producing professional annually for materially impacting the company’s culture, driving excellence, and unselfishly leading by example.
A key player within CBRE’s Institutional Group (IG), Perrier has facilitated many complex, multi-market dispositions including over 30,000 acres of land sales, major sales and portfolios. She and her partner Darla Longo are part of National Partners—a group of leading CBRE IG professionals across the U.S. The National Partners transacted 236 million square feet of transactions totaling $20 billion in 2020.
Whether during a global pandemic or any other time, Perrier’s work ethic has always been guided by a “head down, work harder than ever” mentality. The pandemic ultimately resulted in the surge of her business, since she and her team are focused on industrial real estate. The challenge at hand has been in trying to balance her work and personal life, which is something she strives for daily.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Perrier as one of the National 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
