VP in McCall & Almy’s strategic advisory group

Focus on healthcare and life science clients

Uses financial expertise, attention to detail and real estate expertise to drive the best business decisions for clients

JP Weldon is a VP in McCall & Almy’s strategic advisory group focused on institutional consulting, strategic leasing, asset monetization, and acquisition/disposition services for healthcare and life science clients with a background in real estate finance and capital markets.

Working with some of the firm’s high-profile clients, including Mass General Brigham with more than 500 leased locations, Weldon uses his financial expertise, attention to detail, and real estate expertise to drive the best business decisions for McCall & Almy’s clients.

Colleagues say Weldon can quickly connect with senior real estate executives in commercial real estate, healthcare, and life sciences industries and manage sophisticated transaction structures. He frequently identifies creative solutions that require acquisitions, brokerage, and asset monetization expertise.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Weldon and the team were busier than ever, working with healthcare clients to navigate detailed real estate decisions, including working with Mass General Brigham on pandemic response-related requirements and cost-saving measures.

These are some of the reasons we chose Weldon as one of the Boston/New England 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
