Company:

Marcus & Millichap

John Faus is a Director of Investments for Marcus & Millichap’s Washington, DC office. He specializes in the acquisition and disposition of industrial and flex properties across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region. Faus helps owners assess pricing, understand buyer demand and position industrial and flex assets whose value may be tied to long-term tenancy, legacy zoning, operational use or nontraditional layouts.

Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2020, Faus has closed 39 transactions totaling more than $144 million. Recent highlights include the $9.1-million sale of the 41,059-square-foot 1812-1820 Margaret Avenue in Annapolis, MD and the $8.65-million sale of the Orion Business Center in Millersville, MD.

Faus supports new-agent development in the Washington, D.C., office by participating in training, role-play, and informal mentoring. He works with ShelterBox USA, a global disaster relief organization, has served on the Alumni Board of St. Paul’s School for Boys in Brooklandville, MD and is active with the ULI’s Young Leaders Group.

Marcus & Millichap has honored Faus with its Rookie of the Year, Sales Recognition and Shooting Star Awards. He was also named to the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal’s 30 Under 30 in 2022.

These are just a few reasons we chose John Faus as one of Connect CRE’s Washington DC & Mid-Atlantic Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
