Based in the firm’s Miami office, Newmark Senior Directors Clay Sidner and Jeremy Hakala are members of the company’s top national advisory team. Within the past year, the duo handled 35 lease transactions totaling 350,000 square feet. Sidner and Hakala also represented one side of a $62.5-million office transaction.
Notable leasing transactions included Greenberg Traurig’s 49,000 square feet at the Bank of America Plaza (Fort Lauderdale), Varonis Systems’ 18,353-square-foot transaction at 801 Brickell (Miami) and WR Berkley’s 21,363 square-foot lease at 600 Brickell Ave. (Miami).
