Alexandra Kelly Lewis is a partner in Goodwin’s Real Estate Industry group and a prolific dealmaker, innovator, and community partner. Her practice represents clients in various commercial real estate transactions, including complex joint ventures, senior, construction and mezzanine financings (for lenders and borrowers), and asset-level and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions.

Lewis is also a member of the Industrial Tech and Advanced Manufacturing Accelerator’s leadership team and sits on the firm’s Hiring Committee, REIT Associate Development Committee and Leadership Council for Women@Goodwin.

Notable deals include leading the team that advised a global real estate investment firm on the origination of a $140-million mortgage loan to finance a 100-acre assemblage in San Bernardino County, CA.

She also led the team advising Rockwood Capital on a joint venture with GFP Real Estate and Metro Loft Management. This involved buying and developing 25 Water Street, a 22-story, 1.1-million-square-foot office building in New York City’s historic Financial District, and the associated $535.8-million loan.

Lewis is active in pro bono works, participating in clinics that assist with naturalization applications and criminal record sealing. She also regularly works on pro bono matters with the New England Innocence Project.

She is an active member of CREFC and ULI. Her community endeavors include co-chairing the Parent-Teacher Organization at Frances Jacobson Early Childhood Center at Temple Israel, where she also served on the board.

This is why Alexandra Kelly Lewis received Connect CRE’s 2024 Boston & New England Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
