Frances Haynes, partner, is the chair of Lewis Roca’s Real Estate Industry Group. Her practice advises businesses, owners, and contractors on all facets of commercial law, development issues and risk avoidance. She is experienced in all phases of the construction process.
She has negotiated, structured, and documented engineering, procurement, construction, and solar-qualified management agreements for large-scale solar projects. Haynes also arranged and documented architectural, engineering, and construction services agreements for the University Medical Center for the completion of the highly acclaimed Arizona Cancer Center.
She is a founding member of the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation Legacy Society and an executive member of the organization’s board. Haynes is a member of the Construction Lawyers Society of America, the Trial Law Institute and Diversity Law Institute, the American Bar Association and Maricopa County Bar Association. She was also the first woman to serve as chair of the Construction Law Section of the Arizona State Bar Association and has been named fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America.
Haynes has been rated an “AV/Preeminent Attorney” in Martindale-Hubbell for the last 25 years and was named among the Top 25 Female Lawyers in Arizona in Southwest Super Lawyers. She’s been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and Southwest Super Lawyers and named to Arizona Commercial Real Estate Magazine’s “Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate” list.
Haynes obtained her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
