Represented Flacks Group in demolishing former Sears building at Lakeland Square Mall

As an attorney with Peterson & Myers, Bart Allen focuses on land use and environmental law.

Notable matters include representing Lakeland Regional Health in multiple land use and rezoning cases (including rezoning of residential land to accommodate a new graduate medical education program) and representing the Flacks Group on its demolition of a former Sears Building at the Lakeland Square Mall to build apartments. He also represented the YMCA on a multimillion-dollar rebuild and 41,000-square-foot expansion of its Lakeland facility.

Allen was named to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite in Environmental and Land Use Law. He is the past chair of the Central Florida Development Council.

Allen received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law.
