Served on the U.S.A. Lacross's board and led its building committee
As Redgate’s Senior Vice President, Katie Hearn offers over 25 years of hands-on experience in acquisition, master planning, development and leasing. Her work encompasses the Mid-Atlantic and Raleigh Durham regions, including Johns Hopkins University, CrossHarbor Capital Partners, and the North Carolina Railroad.
Hearn’s experience in higher education real estate helps her coordinate with critical state, local and community-based groups to deliver properties with high investor value. She served as Strategic Advisor and Development Manager in Redgate’s partnership with the University of Maryland and the city of College Park in developing a jointly owned, 100,000-square-foot Class-A city hall and university building.
Hearn served on the U.S.A. Lacrosse’s board of directors and led the organization’s building committee, where she played a significant role in the construction and development of its new headquarters and national team training facility. Hearn also serves on the board of the mentorship program Next One Up.
These are a few reasons we chose Katie Hearn as one of the Washington DC Connect CRE’s 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
