Rachael Thompson
Doubled her Phoenix healthcare leasing portfolio in three years
Helped bring Pima Medical Pavilion from 83% to 100% occupancy
Rachael Thompson is a senior vice president with Kidder Mathews. She specializes in healthcare real estate services, developing property leasing strategies to improve tenant retention, create the right tenant mix, maximize operating income, and minimize vacancies. Thompson leverages her comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare real estate market to develop effective marketing plans to position properties in the marketplace and reach targeted tenants.
Thompson recently secured new long-term leases for Healthcare Realty Trust at Pima Medical Pavilion, a 90,000-square-foot Class A Medical office in Scottsdale, AZ. She also renegotiated existing leases in the building to bring the occupancy from 83% to 100% in just two years and increased the asking rate to over $8.00 per square foot. As a result, Thompson and her team were awarded a portion of the Healthcare Realty Trust portfolio, consisting of 1.5 million square feet of medical office space within 22 buildings, doubling the Kidder Mathews healthcare portfolio.
A real estate powerhouse, Thompson doubled her Phoenix healthcare leasing portfolio in three years through hard work, determination, and persistence.
These are a few reasons we chose Rachael Thompson as one of the Phoenix & Southwest Connect CRE’s 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
